the libertines were a rock band from England who formed in 1997.
Member were Pete Doherty who was the vocalist, guitarist and made songs , Carl Barat who was the vocalist, guitarist and made songs too, John Hassall who was bassist, Gary Powell Who was the drummer.
They loved each other as friends. But Pete made the problems. it was that he used cocaine and heroin. What's more he robbed Carl's home. As a result he was caught. However he didn't stop using cocaine and heroin.
As a result he couldn't join the band's gigs and Carl was tired.
so Carl decided to disband the libertines....
